This my favorite album ...and I never knew they wrote lyrics for famous vocalist and bands...that gives me even more respect... I'll never get rid of this album set .❤ Love to their family ❤ from Niagara Canada ❤ Alot of music came up from Buffalo and Niagara falls NY back in the day...I am white but my first radio I bought at a second hand store had to get WBLK or I wasn't buying it..and it did...from then on I would go to record stores and look r&b and funk..and actually people gave me a couple of albums to support my interest . I just want to put out there that Michael Jackson did have some funk but you have to be aware there wasn't right about his lyrics ..just sayin...have discernment.. I liked peaches and herbs .. sister Sledge ..etc. are just a couple of my collections... Stephanie Mills... Anita Baker .. ..list goes on and on..

He was a PIONEER in our community. I see very few drag queens that ACTUALLY sing and if they do can sing. Yet he wasn't or shouldn't have even been called that. He was an artist, who created great music and brought joy to the masses. But most of all he was an INCREDIBLE human being.

Rachelle respectfully held back and still caused goosebumps and chills. You can feel the tension in the audience when Rachelle sings. Look at Natalie lean forward in expectation cuz she and the audience both know what Rachelle is capable of. And that segment from 3:30 4:00 is a masterclass in breath control and riffing technique. (I've played that segment alone at least ten times now, in awe.) But she was graceful and respectful to Deb and that's a wonderful thing.

They did ms.Natalie Cole justice! Yesss, this is good singing!
